As so many of us have learned the hard way, freedom isn’t free.

So many men and women have given their lives to give us the freedom we enjoy.

As Thomas Payne once wrote, “Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men undergo the fatigue of supporting it.”

What Payne was saying in that quote was that those who enjoy the wonderful freedoms of this country must also do the duty to support it.
